| Summary |
The Finnish construction company Tempo is planning a new district in Helsinki, which will generate its energy with a private wind farm and thus be completely self-sufficient. Everything is going as planned for the three siblings Alex, Julia and Börje. But things get complicated when the body of a young woman, Anna Bergdahl, is found on the construction site. Of all people, the detective Sofia Karppi, discovers the murdered body. Sofia Karppi has just lost her husband and is now alone with her two children. The investigation is getting closer to her than expected. On top of that, she has to deal with a new partner, Sakari Nurmi (Lauri Tilkanen), a half-Italian, for whom his regular lunches seem to be more important than solving the murder case. Slowly, however, the investigations weld the two together and allow them to dive into corruption, environmental politics, family secrets and the entanglements and dramas of high society. And Karppi will take risks she should never have taken… |
